Youth commissioners say mayor interview yielded 30 minutes of footage; editing to follow

Chair updated commissioners that the group filmed an interview with the mayor last week and that the recording produced roughly 30 minutes of usable footage that now needs editing. "Last meeting, we've or last Tuesday, we filmed the interview with mayor Allen, and we were able to get about 30 minutes of talking to him," the chair said as the commission discussed next steps.

Commissioners and volunteers volunteered to help with editing and collection of photos to illustrate the episode; commissioners agreed the larger idea of a short, five-minute city explainer video should be deferred to the end of May or next term because of heavy end-of-term schedules. The commission said it will prioritize finishing the mayor interview first and will reconnect on the broader video concept later.
