The Duston Island Task Force voted to retain Maja Design as the graphic designer and fabricator for three interpretive panels for Duston Island. Chair Lorrie Carey said the firm was referred by the New Hampshire Division of Historical Resources and confirmed the price: "She confirmed the total cost for three panels, including graphic design, fabrication, project management, and delivery, is $7,075 — favorable compared to prior research estimates." The town will lead the project and other organizations may contribute content or funding.
Carey noted that the Division of Historical Resources must review and approve final panel layouts and that the designer requires text and images submitted separately. The firm will propose layout options once the committee finalizes text and photographic sources. The committee recorded the selection and proceeded to detailed content discussions for individual panels.
