Price City Library Board hears request for evening story hour for working parents

Board members relayed community feedback at the July 13 meeting that several working parents cannot attend daytime story hours and have requested an evening story hour. The minutes record: "several working parents who cannot make our daytime sessions have requested an evening story hour." (recorded by meeting minutes).

Board chair Kassidy Hansen said the proposal should be discussed with library staff before proceeding; the minutes note it will be discussed with "Tawnya." Board member Tina Rowley was asked to research and develop a sanitary policy to allow toys in the children’s room while ensuring cleanliness and safety. The evening story hour and toys in the children’s room were listed as agenda items for the board’s next meeting.
