Council previews incentive package for John W. Danforth Company; second reading set for Aug. 24

Economic development staff described a proposed agreement to induce John W. Danforth Company to lease and renovate space in Dublin. The package includes a 2‑year 15% withholding incentive followed by a 5‑year 10% performance incentive valued at $353,000, plus a $50,000 location grant to support construction costs; staff said the project would retain 125 jobs and create 100 new Dublin‑based positions by December 2033 and that staff recommends council approval on Aug. 24.
