Chair announced that the select board approved moving Jim from alternate to full voting member of the planning board, creating an open alternate seat. "Jim moved from alternate to full voting member, and they made that decision at their last meeting as a Jim is now a full member of the planning board," the chair said; the board invited interested residents to apply for the open alternate position.
The code enforcement officer provided a short update, describing a busy period of inspections and noting increased activity in several subdivisions. "The last 3 weeks have been a pretty busy, you know, getting this prepared, for today... there's a flurry of activity... I imagine, you know, there'll be another little uptick in new building permits probably in, you know, September or so," the officer said. The officer also said DEP will look at a possible concern on Monday and that staff will report back to the board.
