Assessor flags EagleView pictometry contract and reassessment funding question

The assessor outlined routine budget lines and contractual obligations, then raised a concern about a six-year EagleView pictometry contract that was initially financed by bond proceeds. “There is 3 years left on the contract,” the assessor said, and noted the county may have to add the roughly $35,500 expense to either the reassessment fund or the general fund if it is not picked up by a subsequent bond.

She emphasized the operational value of pictometry to field collectors—identifying previously unseen buildings and locked gates—and advised that the county should plan for whether the service is continued and how to budget for the remaining contract years.
