Commissioners adopt minutes and correct June 23 roll-call entry

The Livingston Parish Planning Commission approved two sets of minutes on Aug. 6: the special planning and zoning meeting minutes dated June 23, 2026, and the regular meeting minutes dated July 2, 2026. The June 23 minutes passed with eight yes votes and one abstention; the July 2 minutes were adopted unanimously after a small date correction was made to the draft.

During review, a commissioner raised an inconsistency in the June 23 roll call, saying the present/absent lines listed the wrong person and requested that staff correct the entry to reflect who was present and who was absent. The chair asked staff to make the correction in the adopted minutes. "Can we make that correction, please?" the chair asked; staff acknowledged and agreed to update the record.
