Assessors to post returned assessment notices and approve pending appeals list

The Paulding County Board of Tax Assessors voted to forward the 2026 listing of returned undeliverable real and personal property assessment notices to Probate Judge Woodall for posting at the courthouse and to post the notice on the Board of Assessors’ website for 30 days as required by O.C.G.A. §48-5-306. Member Lydia Rollins moved the action and the board approved it unanimously: McBurrows, Amerson, Spinks, Rollins and Griswell.

In the same meeting the board approved the 2026 Pending Real and Personal Property Appeal List as presented by Chief Appraiser James Stokes, Jr. Vice-Chairman Ben Amerson seconded the motion to approve the pending appeals list; staff will file a copy with the minutes as part of the official record.
