Delray Chamber previews fall events; resident asks board to collect gift cards for annual Santa Pajama party

Stephanie Edelman, CEO of the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce, told the board about an August 20 "Contacts & Cocktails" at the Cornell Museum, a women's summer soiree on Aug. 25 at Hyatt Place and the Delray Chamber Education Fund breakfast on Aug. 27; she encouraged DDA partnership and attendance. Marketing staff later highlighted July's event and digital metrics.

During public comment, Cynthia Ridley described her annual Santa Pajama party serving roughly 200–300 families and asked each board member to provide four $25 gift cards for older children. "I'm asking if each one of you will at least give me 4 gift cards," Ridley said. Multiple board members immediately pledged to contribute; staff said Ridley will follow up with details and contact information so contributions can be coordinated.
