Ambulance board president urges planners to include flood‑hazard ordinance in MCOG review

During public comment, a member of the public who identified themself as "president of the Central Lincoln County Ambulance Service board of directors" urged the planning board to include the flood‑hazard development ordinance in the package of ordinances submitted to MCOG for harmonized review. The commenter said recent changes have overlapped shoreland/shore end zone definitions with flood-hazard rules and asked the board to avoid potential conflicts.

"I would ask that you include the flood hazard development ordinance in that list because... you might wanna make sure that definitions and flood hazard don't come into conflict with any changes that you might wanna make," the commenter said. The Chair acknowledged the suggestion and noted the consultant and select board discussion to follow.
