Board hears updates on operations funding, insurance network concerns, policy-platform migration and community sports

In other business the business manager said the operations fund looks stronger than last year and that staff would submit an additional-appropriation request to the state to reflect updated revenue projections. The business manager said he would meet with insurance representatives to determine next year's rates, and an administrator warned of an ongoing dispute between Ascension and UnitedHealthcare that "could be without the ability to go to Ascension Saint Vincent."

The district's policy coordinator reported that the Neola policy platform will be migrated to a new interface later this summer, which will change how policies appear on the website but not the substance of policy content.
