City Administrator Manana Hutchinson previewed several consent-agenda items that the council will consider by one motion unless pulled for discussion: Resolution 16056 (state revenue sharing), the 52nd annual arts and crafts festival on Sept. 18–19 at Library Square and Hasson Street, liquor license matters, a parade permit for homecoming, purchase of a truck chassis, Miller Avenue sanitary sewer repair, and claims and contract payment registers A and B. “The 52nd annual arts and crafts festival will be held September 18th and 19th in Library Square for Southeast in Hasson Street,” Hutchinson said.
Hutchinson also said the council will set public budget workshop sessions for Aug. 25 (CIP) and Sept. 8 (preliminary budget and tax levy). She listed committee and board reports (parks, library, admissions and utilities commission) and said the meeting will end with staff and mayor/council updates.
