Court finds violation true in Ganahl adjudication; parties agree to amended disposition plan

The court found violation of a supervision condition true for Liana Jen Arrigo Ganahl after the state moved to amend its motion to enter adjudication of guilt to reflect an attempted burglary of a habitation.

"The court will find violation of condition number 1 true," Judge Stephanie Boyd said after the state amended its allegations. The state and defense presented a proposed agreement to deny the state's motion, alter conditions and coordinate concurrent case handling. Defense counsel said the parties would TIC (take into consideration) a related drug case once the plea occurs.

Judge Boyd reviewed the defendant's options and the consequences of pleading true, including potential sentencing exposure up to 10 years and a $10,000 fine if adjudication is imposed. The court advised counsel to ensure transfer and case closure processes are complete before moving forward.
