DRB agrees to seek VLCT/NRPC help on bylaws, set meeting schedule and standardize town email addresses

During other business the board discussed rules of procedure, bylaw revisions and administrative practices.

Members agreed to ask the Vermont League of Cities and Towns (VLCT) for a short guidance note on stormwater requirements and to consider a grant to the Northwest Regional Planning Commission (NRPC) to help with bylaw revisions related to recent state acts. They also discussed creating official town email addresses (for DRB and the planning commission) to avoid using personal accounts and reduce Open Meeting Law risks; the chair suggested an address such as at bakersfield.org.

The board set a follow‑up meeting in early September to consider materials related to the Borbeau subdivision and agreed to prepare equipment set‑up instructions for hybrid meetings so any member can start remote technology reliably.
