City moves design forward for $4.57M 7375 South 925 East street, water and storm-drain project

City Engineer Brandon Jones described a proposal to upgrade two streets at 7375 South 925 East to city-standard widths, install new sidewalks, replace a water line and perform significant storm-drain work. He presented two options for storm drainage and estimated the project cost at $4,569,015, recommending proceeding to engineering design and phased bidding.

Councilman Wayne Winsor asked how this project would affect the timing of other planned projects, and Councilman Jeremy Davis raised concerns about coordination with the Highway 89 & 84 interchange work and potential impacts on South Weber Drive. The council directed staff to move forward with design to allow further study of development options and phasing.
