Pateros council OKs up to $7,500 for phase two of RCO grant preparation

The Pateros City Council on June 17 authorized proceeding with phase two of an RCO grant preparation effort with a budget not to exceed $7,500. Councilmember Chantel Poole moved the measure; the minutes show the motion was seconded (recorded as seconded by Poole) and carried unanimously.

City Administrator Jord Wilson said he will collect letters of support from the school district, the tennis coach, a retired tennis coach and is seeking a letter from pickleball users. The council did not specify additional conditions in the minutes; the approved amount covers further planning and application work for the grant.
