Sun Valley council reviews 2015 Comprehensive Plan update process

Community Development Director Mark Hofman opened the Feb. 9 special meeting with an overview of the Comprehensive Planning process to date and described anticipated next steps in the 2015 Comprehensive Plan update. Mayor Dewayne Briscoe and council members asked questions about schedule and how remaining decisions would be coordinated with the Steering Committee and Planning and Zoning Commission.

The presentation established three focal Land Use Planning Areas (LUPAs) for the council's review and subsequent public deliberation. Hofman summarized remaining tasks and said staff will bring follow-up items to future meetings; the council discussed timing and information needs required to finalize recommendations.
