Sun Valley council approves short-term agreement for interim community development director

The Sun Valley City Council on Feb. 19 approved a short-term employment agreement with proposed Interim Community Development Director John Gaeddert and authorized Mayor Dewayne Briscoe to sign the agreement on behalf of the city. Council President Keith Saks moved the approval; Council Member Michelle Griffith seconded. The motion passed by voice vote with four ayes and no nays.

The agreement was introduced under the meeting's personnel item. Community Development Director Mark Hofman and City Administrator Susan Robertson participated in the discussion. The approval is intended to provide a temporary management arrangement for the community development function while the council continues work on the draft 2015 Comprehensive Plan.
