Sun Valley schedules Sept. 3 joint meeting with Ketchum to discuss fire-department cooperation and ladder ownership; 3-1 vote

The Sun Valley City Council approved scheduling a discussion-only joint meeting with the Ketchum City Council on Sept. 3, 2014 at 4 p.m. to discuss Fire Department cooperation and the proposed joint ownership and usage of a ladder. Mayor Dewayne Briscoe introduced the added agenda item and proposed the Sept. 3 date.

Council members asked questions during the discussion; after debate Council Member Michelle Griffith moved to schedule the meeting focused on fire department cooperation and joint ladder ownership and usage. The motion was seconded by Council Member Peter Hendricks and passed on a roll call vote: AYES — Michelle Griffith, Peter Hendricks, and Keith Saks; NAY — Franz Suhadolnik.
