Sun Valley council unanimously approves Lane Meadows annexation

The Sun Valley City Council unanimously approved draft Findings of Fact for the Lane Meadows Annexation Request No. ANNX 2013-01 during a special meeting on June 10, 2014. Council President Keith Saks presided after Mayor Dewayne Briscoe recused himself from the Lane Meadows portion of the agenda. The motion to approve was made by Council Member Michelle Griffith and seconded by Council Member Peter Hendricks.

The approval was recorded by roll call: Council Members Peter Hendricks, Franz Suhadolnik, Michelle Griffith and Council President Keith Saks voted aye; no nays were recorded. The meeting record notes that applicants' attorney Jim Laski and Community Development Director Mark Hofman provided comments during the Lane Meadows discussion. "Council President Keith Saks declared the motion approved unanimously," the minutes state. The action completes the annexation finding stage for ANNX 2013-01; subsequent related approvals on zoning, master plan and plat were considered later the same session.
