Southwest Washington Fair set for Aug. 11–16, 2026, organizers invite public to see upgrades

Tianna Velasquez, fair and events manager at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds, closed the presentation by inviting the public to the annual fair and encouraging attendees to view both visible and behind‑the‑scenes projects: "We hope that you'll come check them out August 11 through the 16th for our annual Southwest Washington Fair, where we're gonna ride into history for the 20 26 Fair. See you there."

Organizers said the fair will showcase improvements such as the water main work, 4‑H building renovations and Friendlyville upgrades, noting those projects were completed or underway to improve safety and year‑round usability of the grounds. The announcement served as the presentation's closing remark and the timeline point for public outreach ahead of the event.
