Lake County expands CTE with HVAC, electricity and phlebotomy programs in partnership with Lake Technical College

Lake County Schools announced new career and technical education programs at Lincoln Park Educational Center in partnership with Lake Technical College, Superintendent Diane Kornege said. "These new dual enrollment opportunities include programs in HVAC, electricity, and phlebotomy, helping students gain valuable skills and industry ready credentials," she said.

Kornege presented the programs as pathways for older students preparing for careers; the address did not specify enrollment limits, program start dates, credentialing partners beyond Lake Technical College, or funding details.
