The Pompey committee reviewed logistics and crowd control after a recent Earth Day event and urged fixes for next year. Diana said the event experienced unsafe two-way traffic at a main entrance and proposed switching to one-way traffic, adding cones or a flagger and clearer "exit only" signage to ease congestion and improve safety. "So we just don't have enough space for parking and 2 lane traffic in both directions," she said, urging a simple traffic pattern change.

Members also raised staffing shortages during setup and breakdown and discussed practical steps for next year: assigning more volunteers to parking, adding extra tables in case vendors request additional space, and planning a clearer vendor layout. Chair asked members to follow up on action items and volunteer sign-ups ahead of the next Earth Day; no formal motion or vote was recorded.
