Pateros reviews police and fire updates; clerk reports favorable financial audit

Council received the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office report as submitted in council packets and heard committee notes on communication with the sheriff's office and vandalism concerns. Chief Heen updated the council on fire department training and maintenance and noted the department will receive a new/used water tender.

Clerk-Treasurer Kerri Wilson reported the financial audit has been completed and "the results were good." The sheriff's office packet included recent incident counts and a brief monthly summary of calls and traffic stops; council asked staff to continue outreach with Sheriff Budrow regarding community communication.
