Sun Valley council unanimously adopts Ordinance 476, annual appropriation for fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2015

The Mayor and City Council of Sun Valley, Idaho, adopted Ordinance No. 476, the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2015, at a special meeting on Aug. 18, 2015. City Administrator Susan Robertson read the ordinance by title only after the council approved motions to waive the full reading and to have the third reading conducted by title; the adoption was carried by a unanimous roll call vote of the four members present (Council President Keith Saks and Council Members Michelle Griffith, Jane Conard and Peter Hendricks).

Procedural motions preceded the final adoption: Council Member Jane Conard moved to waive the reading of Ordinance 476 in its entirety (seconded by Council Member Michelle Griffith), and later Council Member Michelle Griffith moved to have the third reading by title (seconded by Council Member Jane Conard). After the title reading by City Administrator Susan Robertson, Council Member Jane Conard moved to adopt the ordinance (seconded by Council Member Michelle Griffith); the minutes record ayes from all members present and no nays. Mayor Dewayne Briscoe was absent. The meeting adjourned at 4:16 p.m.
