Holt County approves payroll, claims and publishes statutory salaries

On July 31, 2026, the Holt County Board of Supervisors approved direct deposit payroll and other claims (motion by Dustin Breiner, seconded by Supervisor Tielke). The motion passed with supervisors Tielke, Breiner, Treptow, Linquist, Neiman and Paxton voting aye; Frahm was absent.

The minutes record payroll totals and several vendor payments: General Fund Payroll Total $243,300.63; Road Fund Payroll Total $404,479.06; Payroll Exp Fund $220,489.88 and $225,580.00 listed as payroll-expense fund entries. Selected vendor payments recorded include Schindler Elevator (serv.) $6,082.85, Jackson's Heavy Equip (serv.) $2,000.00 and Wm. Krotter (supplies) $64,042.00. The board also published statutory salary figures under Neb. Rev. Stat. 23-122, listing, for example, County Supervisors at $2,050.00 and County Attorney at $9,433.33; a longer roster of salaried and hourly positions appears in the record.
