Ross School to appear on PBS series 'Empowered' following founder's support

The Ross School, a private day and boarding school with campuses in East Hampton and Bridgehampton, was filmed this spring for an upcoming episode of the PBS series 'Empowered,' the broadcast said.

School representative Sturdivant (introduced in the segment) told the program that Courtney Sale Ross, the school's founder who died this spring, had given her support for the school’s participation and that the school hoped the episode would introduce more people to Ross’s educational approach. The anchor noted the episode is expected to air in the fall but said a specific date and time had not yet been announced.
