City attorney submits denial to return Uintah Springs Business Park annexation to council

County officials mailed annexation paperwork for The Uintah Springs Business Park, which Uintah City staff said they received during the Dec. 29 staff meeting. City administrative staff reported the city attorney has submitted a denial of the prior approval, a procedural step intended to return the annexation to the council for further consideration.

Staff also discussed GRAMA requests for staff-meeting audio and clarified that audio records will not be available for meetings lacking a quorum. Staff noted a privacy plan finalization is due by the end of the month. No formal council action was taken at the staff meeting; the attorney’s filing was described as a procedural step to ensure the annexation is reconsidered by the governing body.
