Commission approves ranked project list for WWRP State Parks category

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission evaluated project alignment and approved a ranked list for the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) State Parks category. The Commission approved staff recommendations with ordering changes that moved Larabee Boat Launch Accessibility to position 11, Nisqually Trail Improvements to 12, Lake Easton cabins development to 13, and Mount Spokane Day Mountain Phase 3 to 14.

Commissioner Laurie Connelly moved the motion with a second by Commissioner Scott Merriman; the motion passed unanimously as presented. The Commission authorized staff to submit the approved ranked project list to the Recreation and Conservation Office for inclusion in the WWRP State Parks project evaluation process.
