Rabies clinic updates, jail-medical review and coroner record noted

Environmental Health staff told the committee that a rabies clinic on July 11 resulted in 19 people receiving post-exposure treatment, and that bait drops have taken place; the next rabies clinic is planned at the county highway property in October or November. These items were presented as routine environmental-health activity.

The committee also received a summary of a State Committee of Corrections site visit and exit interview regarding jail medical conducted July 22, and noted that Coroner William Lampke’s New York State retirement record of activities is complete. No committee actions were recorded on these informational items.
