Commission approves Snyder Grove Phase 6 final plat (39 lots)

The commission approved the final plat for Snyder Grove Phase 6 on Aug. 6 after Charles Arden of Blue and Associates summarized revisions that reduced the current phase to 39 lots and moved 20 lots into subsequent phases.

Arden said the developer had adjusted the phasing for balance and that the project will ultimately create single‑family lots within the Stoddard Grove neighborhood. Commissioners asked about outstanding items — specifically a letter of credit for sidewalks — and staff said the council will not approve the plat without that financial assurance. The motion to approve the final plat (with the usual conditions including required financial guarantees) passed on a motion by Colin and a second by Rob; the item will go to city council with the noted contingencies.

Commissioners and staff said the phased approach and the sidewalk guarantee were standard conditions to ensure public improvements are completed.
