At the end of the town-hall, former officials urged residents to help educate their neighbors about the ballot language and the measure’s effects. Scott LeMay, introduced by the mayor as a former mayor and resident, said the ballot language can be confusing but the impact of a yes vote is important and asked residents to sign a volunteer sheet.
LeMay told the audience he and former city manager Brian Bradford are organizing a PAC to provide informational materials and outreach. "We are putting the final touches on our pack documents in a row next week," LeMay said, and asked for names and contact information for volunteers to distribute yard signs and share voter guidance. Bradford and LeMay said they plan to attend other community meetings and circulate materials to help residents understand the ballot measure.
