IT and highway operations updates: paving on track, culvert aid delayed

County IT staff noted steady progress on the city‑county IT project list presented in the packet and invited questions from the committee; staff said detailed reports are in the packet. Highway staff reported the paving program is generally on track but that several culvert‑aid projects are delayed due to paperwork and material supplier delays; the town of McMillan received LSSIP funding and the county is coordinating contract and schedule work.

"We seem to be on track with our paving program right now," Kevin said, while noting culvert contracts and some supplier delays have pushed expected completion dates for those projects. Staff said they expect to continue coordinating with Sam (finance) and the towns to close outstanding items and execute the remaining work during the fall season.

The committee set the next Infrastructure Committee meeting for Tuesday, September 3 at 9 a.m. and adjourned after brief other‑business items on broadband and cell‑tower buildout status.
