County approves hotel/motel tax sponsorships for Oatmeal Festival, Music on Main and Fall Festival

The Burnet County Commissioners Court approved several sponsorships funded by Hotel/Motel Tax revenue. For FY26, the court approved a Stage Sponsor contribution for the 2026 Oatmeal Festival (not to exceed $1,500) and a Community Sponsor contribution for the Music on Main Downtown Marble Falls Fall 2026 series (not to exceed $500); the minutes record an abstention by Commissioner Damon Beierle on one FY26 vote before the court approved item (b) unanimously.

The court also approved an FY27 Premier sponsorship for the Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce Fall Festival (Oct. 22–25, 2026) in an amount not to exceed $1,000. Tourism Director Blair Manning spoke in support of the sponsorships; sponsorship forms and event descriptions are included in the meeting attachments.
