Deerfield senior housing committee names RFP reviewer and hears public-safety concerns

The Ad Hoc Senior Housing Committee on July 29 named committee member Lili Dwight as the committee’s representative to the RFP review process for senior housing.

The appointment was recorded under the meeting’s updates. Committee minutes list the agenda item as: "RFP status - Review Committee representative from Senior Housing- Lili Dwight." The change positions the committee to participate directly in evaluating proposals and responses to the RFP.

Public comment during the meeting flagged safety and transparency concerns about the RFP. Holly Lankowski urged that the RFP review include public-safety requirements and asked that "Include chief for SCEMS in review."
