Planning Manager Mary Holden told the board staff has implemented a policy that revised plans submitted less than three weeks before a Planning Board meeting will not be accepted for review at that meeting and must be deferred to the next meeting. She said the change is intended to ensure that all reviewers — including fire, utilities, water/sewer/stormwater, public works and building — have time to review changes and to reduce last‑minute processing errors.
"If any of you should ever receive an email with revised plans being sent to you before that 3 weeks, know that it is not approved ... It will not be reviewed," Holden said, adding that the aim is to minimize staff burden and to ensure reviewers see any change that could affect stormwater or fire safety. The board acknowledged the clarification and had no immediate questions.
