Board appoints deputy planning clerk and a new Climate Smart Task Force member

The board voted to appoint Jessica as a temporary (six-month probationary) deputy planning and zoning clerk to assist with office coverage and meeting support. The supervisor said Jessica is already employed by the town in another office and that expanding hours helps staff retention.

The board also appointed Finnegan Faribault—identified as the operator of Running Steel Bow Farm—to the Climate Smart Task Force after she expressed interest in climate and agricultural issues. Both motions were made, seconded, and carried by voice vote. The board confirmed that the ZRC will move next to affordable housing work and that the Climate Smart Task Force will help with community events and sustainable initiatives.
