Town updates: digester and slip‑lining projects advance; EPA grant coordination for water tank

Majori said the project includes an asset management grant that adds cybersecurity work and that DEC will require formal asset management plans for sewer and water operators.

Separately, Supervisor Quigley moved to authorize the supervisor to sign a professional services agreement with Blauer Associates to assist with coordination and paperwork for a $1,000,000 US EPA capital grant the town received to replace a water storage tank. The board approved the motion. Majori emphasized that the town's sewer controls are locally operated (not remotely accessible) and that cybersecurity training and protections are part of present and upcoming compliance efforts.
