Teller County commissioners approve $635,242.86 accounts‑payable run; Campbell flags $150,000 gravel invoice

Commissioner Campbell drew attention to a single large line item — a $150,000 payment for gravel connected to a prior contract — and asked staff to note it for the record before moving to approve the accounts‑payable run dated July 30, 2026 in the amount of $635,242.86. The chair called for further discussion, the clerk conducted a roll call, and the accounts payable were approved by unanimous vote.

"We had a transaction for a $150,000 in chains for some gravel, which was in a previous contract," Commissioner Campbell said when flagging the line item for the record. County staff did not indicate additional concerns; the board completed the roll‑call vote approving the AP run.
