Staff reported that seven facility permit renewals were issued at the end of July and that several permits remain in process; the item was presented as a report so members would be aware of recent permitting activity. Staff said small and synthetic-minor permits are statutorily due within 90 days and that processing timelines may be more flexible now that the council operates under county authority.
Members then discussed calendar scheduling for upcoming meetings (September and November) to avoid conflicts with board of elections use of the meeting room and members' schedules. The group provisionally set meeting dates with the understanding the schedule may be adjusted to accommodate elections or other county uses. Staff also said draft Clean Air Act §128 conflict-of-interest disclosure forms and new member orientation materials will be circulated for signature, with options for scanned wet-ink signatures if needed. Hannah Rhodes was announced as going on maternity leave in early September.
