Jericho BCA approves voter checklist changes, flags one transfer error

Jessica R. Alexander presented updates to the Jericho voter checklist, reporting 111 additions and multiple deletions, transfers and purges.

Alexander reported 77 deletions, 65 transfers (registrations that moved to other Vermont towns) and 12 purges for out-of-state registrations, deaths or written removal requests. She commented that "Emily Bishop was transferred to Richmond in error (Richmond mailing address but Jericho physical location)." The minutes further state that the deaths listed on the purge list are current through April 2026 and that additional removals will be completed before the Aug. 11, 2026 state primary.

Following the review, Peter Booth moved to accept the additions and deletions apart from Emily Bishop; Kathleen Bassett Cramer seconded the motion and the board approved the action. The minutes note that the voter list corrections and pending removals will be handled administratively ahead of the primary.
