Board approves hires and coaching assignments, notes pay and pending licensure

The Louisa-Muscatine Community School District board approved a slate of hires and transfers during the July 10 special meeting. Among the actions recorded were the promotion of Ruben Vasquez from assistant high-school girls basketball coach to head high-school girls basketball coach, and a recommendation to hire William Dunham as an Industrial Technology teacher at 5/8 FTE with a pro-rated salary noted as $47,750.63 (listed as $76,401 annual × 5/8).
