The DRB reviewed a proposal for partial demolition and replacement work at 207 Regent Street. Applicant Sean Korp explained the existing front and side porches are in poor condition and proposed a new wood porch, mahogany decking and a shed dormer to improve attic usability. The board concluded the porches were not character‑defining and voted that the porches lack architectural or historical significance, clearing the way for partial demolition.
The board then approved the new design, which includes mahogany decking, Pella Reserve traditional wood windows (simulated divided lights) and wood siding to match existing materials. The chair praised the choice of traditional wood materials and said the alterations "fit into the neighborhood," while requiring final product information to be filed with DRB staff. The board also asked that product details and window specifications be submitted for the record.
