Board hears KPIs: credit recovery completions, vocational credentials and safety drills highlighted

A presenter (S6) reviewed key performance indicators and student-program successes. The district reported 22 credit-recovery sections with 86% completion, noted that up to 60% of students completed career exploration, and said 50 students earned a 10-hour OSHA credential to be posted on transcripts. The presenter also described vocational opportunities including water-operator coursework and Groton Career Academies placements.

S6 highlighted school safety preparations, reporting three joint lockdown drills across the campus and praising the drills' efficiency and communication. The presenter said finalized marking-period and post‑assessment STAR data will be available at the next board meeting for a fuller view of academic outcomes.

Board members thanked staff for coordinating the programs and noted the student achievements as progress toward graduation and transition opportunities.
