Member urges legislative committee meeting; Chair agrees to call meeting

A board member asked when the legislative committee would next convene and reminded colleagues that the board had voted in May to refer organizing a legislative workday to the committee.

The Committee member (Speaker 3) asked, "Can I ask when are we having another legislative committee? We haven't had 1 since April." The member added that the board had voted in May to refer the idea of organizing a legislative workday to the legislative committee. The Chair apologized and said, "I'm happy to send out an email and call 1, but I don't know proactively the schedule of the general assembly to be able to tell you when a data plan it is. So I'm happy to call that and have that discussion." The Chair concluded that the committee meeting would be scheduled soon.

The exchange closed with the Chair indicating staff would follow up to arrange the legislative committee meeting and related workday planning.
