Station documents archival work and new productions including interview with Bill Baxley

Production lead (S9) said the team captured a key, time‑sensitive interview with Bill Baxley as part of research toward a full‑length documentary and described progress on a pilot series called 'Way to Go, Alabama' that will examine modes of transportation and include a Mobile–New Orleans rail leg. "We shot a key time sensitive interview for, what we anticipate will be our next, full length documentary... with Bill Baxley," S9 said.

S9 also described archival‑preservation work: staff prioritized at‑risk film formats for submission under a Mellon grant to the American Archive of Public Broadcasting, where restored material will be hosted for research and long‑term preservation; the station retains rights and will receive digitized files and original media back if requested. Board members asked about rights, reuse and public access; S9 said the station retains control and must authorize public distribution.
