Foundation says radio revenue rose after large bequest; staff roles being made full-time

The finance presenter told the board that WLRH radio had total revenue of $1,100,000 through March, an increase of $183,000 over last year. He said "the majority of that increase is the bequest that we received, in the 1st 0.25 of over $800,000." The presenter also reported membership for radio at $165,000 and described staffing changes made after departures earlier in the year.

He said the organization has reclassified a part-time membership position and a part-time social and digital role to full-time positions and expects to bring on a new news director in May. The presenter framed those moves as part of a broader effort to improve member cultivation and digital outreach; board members acknowledged the staffing updates without proposing additional immediate actions.
