Children's STEM host Mister C showcases DIY Science and previews Season 4

Kevin Cornell, who identified himself as "Mister C," told the board about the educational premise behind his DIY Science program and led attendees in a short hands‑on hoop‑glider exercise used in the show's curriculum.

"My name is Kevin Cornell, AKA mister c," Kevin said, describing his background as a fifth‑grade science teacher and administrator and explaining that the show is designed to engage grades 4–6 with simple, at‑home experiments. He said APT will distribute supporting teacher guides and an activity sheet through PBS LearningMedia and that APT plans to distribute roughly 1,000 DIY kits regionally.

Kevin and APT staff previewed Season 4 topics: STEM career profiles, a forensics/DNA segment, zoo partnerships and possible roller‑coaster/kinetics content. The presentation emphasized curricular supports for teachers and ways to adapt activities for different age levels.
