The Norfolk Town Website Committee voted to add a new website page documenting stained-glass windows at seven venues within walking distance of the Village Green.
Attendee John Hartje proposed the page, describing the collection as "quite a unique mix of secular and religious windows," and offered to pay for the website page design. Jennifer Pfaltz moved to add the page and Deborah M. Nelson seconded; the committee approved the motion.
The new page will include windows at Battell Chapel; Church of Christ First Congregational; Whitehouse; Church of the Immaculate Conception; Church of the Transfiguration; Manor House; and Norfolk Library. Jim Jasper proposed developing the effort as a separate "micro site," but Chair Sue Frisch said the committee should first review the compiled material and postponed a decision on a standalone site. Sue Frisch agreed to assist Jasper with the project.
The committee did not set a timeline for publishing the new page during the meeting. The motion to add the page was approved during the Aug. 4, 2026 meeting conducted via Zoom.
