County department updates: bridge projects, Postville fire donations and water‑tower removal; board adjourns

Corey Snitker provided department updates including courthouse camera work and information on where to check for donation opportunities following the AgriStar fire in Postville. Engineer Brian Ridenour reported on bridge and road projects and noted utility placement in rights‑of‑way creates challenges for future work; he also announced an Aug. 12 open house at Ziegler in Postville. Sheriff Clark Mellick reported the water tower has been removed and listed upcoming events. Auditor Denise Beyer updated the board on the property‑tax process.
